My old bike, it was fun. Anyone know where it at? As for the battery placement, it works/worked just fine.

A Swedish couple doing the Route 66 tour from Chicago to Santa Monica on a 1950 Universal broke down here in Barstow. Re: Cima Green/OCC new bike(s)

It is said it's a three cylinder, and the engine cover on the picture has the letters TDI on it. But I can't identify the concrete engine used. Usually a TDI has to be from Volkswagen. I can see the engine is a Briggs/Daihatsu 950 turbo diesel. The same as I put in my Harley back in 2005, also Terr...

I think the Briggs Diesel would still be a better choice here in the States. Diesel Smart engines are not as common. How are you doing with your Tiger George?

Your not nuts at all, I put a centrifugal clutch in my Honda, one speed. I think there are a couple of car engines with torque converters, there's that Deutz Diesel bike somewhere in the Dieselbike.net archives with that configuration.

Your not nuts, your thinking, good at you!

Briggs Daihatsu 3LC Turbo Diesel plus extra Parts

I have a used Briggs Daihatsu 950T, it had 600 hours before it cracked a Piston. I pulled the head and the piston had a crack caused by the factory stamped Arrow, causing excessive blow-by, so with a piston and a gasket set, you could have a $4500 diesel engine. I also have another Turbo head, a bun...

I would like and looking for a 6bt, 94-98 12 valve w/p7100 injection pump. I really think a 4bt would be more practical. As for th...

A good machine shop should be able to turn and broach a shaft in about a half hour of labor and cost of materials. I have my shafts machined out of high chromium steel.
