I have a used Briggs Daihatsu 950T, it had 600 hours before it cracked a Piston. I pulled the head and the piston had a crack caused by the factory stamped Arrow, causing excessive blow-by, so with a piston and a gasket set, you could have a $4500 diesel engine.
I also have another Turbo head, a bunch of internal parts from another blown engine, no crank or block, everything else including injection pump. $1000 for everything plus shipping, in near Sacramento CA Engine on the right is how it is now! http://m.flickr.com/#/photos/36589379@N08/5871737308/
