LocomotiveBreath comes to mind. But it's not quite like the ones he's built. And a good deal north of him I believe.

mmmmm... It could be one of Dave's. He lived in Sacramento/Woodland area for awhile too. I'll ask him. He visited a few days ago. He is in TN visiting friends and drove up to say HI.

I'm not keen on the battery being mounted that close to the exhaust??
I would have fitted it above the gearbox or under the seat and used the space above the gearbox for the fuel tank assuming some sort of tank couldn't be mounted above the engine??

Or at least a heat shield. It would indeed appear the tank is small enough to be tucked in above the gearbox. Curious too that there's not a linkage to shift from the foot peg.I'm not keen on the battery being mounted that close to the exhaust??

Yes it was Dave's (locomotive breath). He sold it to the fellow in Gillroy couple years ago? The same fellow who is selling it on ebay. I do believe some of the layout you are questioning was done cause this setup was intended for a Sidecar.

My old bike, it was fun. Anyone know where it at? As for the battery placement, it works/worked just fine.
