I had a great time at Hamm, thanks to all, my bike never missed a beat the whole trip. I think i covered around 800 miles, so who's off to the elephant next year? :D

Ferrys booked :D , leaving Hull next weds night then heading up towards Arnhem for thurs night and aim to be in Hamm sometime on friday. Still have a few bits to finish off, I hope to do them tomorrow and head upto stormin the castle rally as a trial run for next week :D. See you at Hamm, Andy. :lol:

Hi Buckles, Good luck with the bike, throw some holy water on it and make a few incantations and get on the road again. By the way I,ve been pushing my diahatsu turbo dnepr pretty hard lately and managed to burst the rubber driveshaft donut. The outer metal ring tore apart and the whole lot disinte...

I really want to do this rally, almost got the outfit ready just some fine tuning( about a weeks work). looking at travelling mid week6th, 7th ish, and sailing from Hull - Holland. Back home mid week after the rally, if I dont see anyone en-rout, see you at the rally site. Andy.

For the last few weekends I have been squirreling away in my garage and finally got the outfit through the MOT :D . I still have loads of work to finish off, but I'm so chuffed to be back on the road, when i smashed it up earlier this year i almost threw the towel in :cry: but riding it this weekend...

Hi benzine and welcome, the weight classes on trikes relate to the licence you hold, you can ride a trike on a bike licence up to 450 kg's ish, but over this weight you will need a car licence. I think this is to stop people building car based trikes that only hold a bike licence, as far a i can see...

Righto, got stuck to my outfit over the last few weeks and its now ready for paint, an then started to paint, just a few bits left to blow over and start to rebuild,,,,,,,,,again, points scored if you lot can tell what I've altered :roll:

Hi Niel, think you should go for an agreed value other wise you will end up with the market value of the standard bike and whats that going to be compared to what you have spent on your build, no where near i bet! :(

Johnny, i have an old set of glow plugs you can have if you would like to try them out, they all work. Whilst my bike was in bits i put new plugs in so the old ones are surplus. let me know and i'll chuck em in the post, Andy.

Hi mouse, my daihatsu is fitted with just under a metre of straight pipe no baffles or owt, its not too noisy. I did think throughout the build that it was going to be too loud, you just associate diesel with noise i know i did.

I am dead chuffed so far still loads of fine tuning to do but overall its fantastic, went out on a dual carriageway and got up to about 50 MPH no problems it pulls like a train! the clutch slips but that's cos the plate is knackered so have got one from motor w...
