Due to impending loss of storage, lack of time and lots of other excuses for not finishing it, my Enfield Yanmar-clone project is for sale. Comprising:
1980 Enfield India 350, without engine. V5 in my name. Bought dismantled but very complete. Tinware was brush painted some time in the past but is sound. Includes new twin leading shoe front wheel, brake and tyre. Rear wheel is scabby but usable, rear tyre is very old. Forks rebuilt with new stanchions, bushes and seals. Gearbox fitted with extended mainshaft. Brand new 5-plate clutch assembly.
Used L100-clone from a Chinese genset, so tapered shaft. Acquired with no compression – piston was cracked so piston, rings, big-end bearing shells, crank oil seals and necessary gaskets replaced but not run yet. Alternator rewound based on thundercougarfalconbird’s post on the forum, aftermarket reg/rec included. Speaker grille flywheel cover.
Main cradle for engine is almost complete but not quite and was welded by a professional welder.
Some new parts but I haven’t made a list yet. I’ll collect everything together this weekend!
Good basis for a project, £600 firm.
Located in South Wales, viewing and chatting welcome.
