Can anyone help Kevin here?
"Hi There,
Im in australia and the postal system uses a 400cc semi-auto gearbox to deliver the mail.
Im about to approach the makers Honda,to see if they would consider putting a diesel engine on it because it uses only half of what the petrol does.
Know of anyone who has tried this or what problems could be seen ? They are constantly changing gears to deliver the mail,so Im wondering how this might effect the drivetrain,or CVT.
Thanks !
Kevin"

Re: Kevin's question regarding Australian postal bikes
Hello
Never heard of a postie thats 400cc
I thought they were 105cc capacity, which is the Honda CT110
They do have no manual operated clutch though.

Re: Kevin's question regarding Australian postal bikes
Just been trying to find any info on what Aussie Postie's use and found this line on a forum elsewhere:
"Ex postie bikes (Australia Post) CT110 (the biggest selling motorcycel in Australia).." And a shot..
Not sure where the 400cc come from? Maybe Kev could be more specific about what bike he's seen in use
