it's been a minute, but im making progress. I just picked up a new job so my funding is back and im gonna be buying the last bits I need to finish my bike. I can't lie, Im SO excited Im wetting myself. I should have some pictures soon, so i'll have those up in no time.

I finally got the motor resting in the frame. It seems to fit well, but slightly tight. The cvt should work.....I've not seen it done this way, so we should see how this pulley works on top of the "drive" clutch.

I don't have much of a choice but to use a v-belt. I'm now wondering if I can put a pulley on top of the drive pulley. I may also need to use a mower deck spindle off an old Massey for the "jack shaft".

I don't be able to afford that. I'm building this on a tight budget.

Turns out I can't use the integrated radiator. So, I removed it and found a nice plate of aluminum. I aim to add a thermostat, on the outlet, and just a simple coolant barb for the inlet. My thought was to fasten the whole assembly to the rear of the frame then have a jack shaft for the driven pulley. I could then run a belt ...

Well, I still have some math to figure out, but the frame is now bare. But as it looks, I won't even have to remove the radiator. It's almost as if the two were ment for each other.

I'm looking to make a shaft that bolts onto the flywheel of a Kubota engine. Has anyone had any luck here? I'm thinking of loading a 1inch shaft and a plate into a lathe and friction weld the two together. It sounds good on paper, but I've never done anything like that.

This problem is solved..

The fuel rack was stuck. A little p.b. blaster and 30 min, and some EXTREAMLY GENTLE leverage, it slowly began moving. Now it slides by finger, and it runs, albeit with leaking injectors.

*miscatigorized could an admin move this to the fuel section?

I've seen a couple people weld a sprocket to the clutch cage. I've also seen others that run off the stator, because they didn't cut the crank case. They just removed the cylinder and piston and capped the holes.
