This weekend was a big UK REOC rally and what a challenging event it turned out to be with heavy rain and winds thet threatened the event on the Friday.
Hespite the heavy weather and the collapse of one of the Marquee's attendees made the best of it and even the sun made an occasional appearance.
I'm happy to report the attendance of 5 dieselbikes over the weekend, myself and Sluggy included. there was a Taurus from Germany and a Sommer Hatz from Holland. From the UK we had a Charnwood IB40 and a home converted Yanma in a late model Brit Bullet chassis.
The most noteable diesel arrived in the form of a massive 1930's style roadster built on a truck chassis complete with a monster diesel v8 that would pull 50mph at 1000 rpm, I'll post pictures later. The owner had some interesting diesel engines 'back at the yard' including a small horizontally opposed 2 stroke twin????
The numbers are growing.
