Re: Who's off to Hamm ?
I'll see you on the Harwich ferry for the night crossing on Thursday 10th, but I'll be running back for the night crossing on the Sunday to be back at work on Monday morning.
Hopefully I'll be the one on a black Truimph with panniers as big as a steamer trunk.
It's 204 miles from the ferry to the campsite, I have actually done the whole journey without putting a foot down between the ferry port and Brauhoff Wilshaus - I had a numb arse for about 2 hours afterwards.

Dave I hear the Tiger feels squirly, tracks odd or something with "big" paniers weighing down the rear.Diesel Dave wrote:...Hopefully I'll be the one on a black Truimph with panniers as big as a steamer trunk...
If you have not done so already you really should check out
http://tigertriple.com/forum/index.php
could help you understand the idiosecrencies (sp?) of the Tiger. Would be nice to have reports of how the diesel and Ultima effects those too.

I suspect it will be ok,there's a cast iron engine block at the front to balance things out
