hallo
hallo, my name is Sean from Norfolk. I ride a Royal Enfield diesel from Pricepart Motorcycles. I've owned it for a year and it's fab. I've just started to source parts to convert my Ural Gear-up to diesel. I hope to fit a Briggs & Stratton 950cc 3 cylinder diesel (Daihatsu). I have been watching this website for a while and decided to join because it's something different. I'm going to the Hamm ralley in September and will probably be on the ferry from Harwich Thursday evening. See you all in the bar.

I agree that he should have said pub instead of bar

Hi there Sean
That's cool, so you join the Diesel Enfield experience . Yeah I have to say the 3cyl Diahatsu's in the Urals make a really nice combination from what I read on the forum.

Re: hallo
usa ,no no . England ,norfolk, dereham. .and yes ural /diesel is a good mix. if I can get a shopping list from dnepr/ural riders in Hamm that's a good start to my ural diesel project .as soon as I can assemble all my parts i'll sell my ural engine, carburettas, petrol tank etc. to finance conversion. See you all in Hamm

Re: hallo
And just remember Sean, if for any reason the diesel transplant doesn't work out, there's always the 2 cycle option for the Ural. I do recognize that such a suggestion on this board might get me banned, but there is something rather unique about the sound of those old 2 cycle Saabs.
