Will you stop it

On Tiger 1 & 2, I was wondering what you could put in the empty space behind the engine - now I know.

When you get used to the added power/torque of the Eaton supercharger, add an intercooler, increase the injector pressure, and turn up the fuel .

Amazing, absolutely amazing.

Supercharged Tiger

Heiko, your a hero!

I love the sound of it whining up the revs.

See you Thursday very late or Friday morning, Tiger 2 will then be returning to Blighty.

Interesting note about the space available in the frame - it would make a nice space for a low slung fuel tank or a huge air filter and toolbox compartment.

hi dave
i am glad to see you next week.
monday i will go to achievement test stand to have it on paper.
if i go there i will take your bike, too, if you want to have comparison.
you only must say me.
than you have your power black and white on a paper and i can make the diesel screw on the right position for max power with less dust.
but only if you want.
iam curios.
ciao heiko

Dyno Run

Post by Diesel Dave »

Go for it Heiko, it will be interesting to see how much is lost in the transmission from the factory rated output.

I seem to prefer diesel motors to be set up slightly below their maximum as they run much cleaner - max power seems to come at the expense of a little smoke.

So let us see what the output is at the rear wheel.

Cheers
Dave
