Winsun + Dnepr wiring issue

My longwaited engine arrived all the sudden yesterday morning.


First problem rose up as I unpacked engine is how to connect it to battery to be tested.

Easy part was to attach ground wire to engine body and to the the battery - terminal + connect free starter terminal to +.

Those two other wires then:

Red one with small female socket on the end coming from regulator(?)

And small blue one. No idea where it comes from. Maybe from regulator

Which one to connect where so I can try out that engine and not to end up breaking something precious?

With connection above I can make starter engage with screwdriwer , but not from starter key.

Main problem was faulty wiring + messed wire colours. Somebody had a bad day at the plant

Had to do some of my own. Now starts from start button.

Loose (red)wire from regulator connects to battery +
