***For Sale*** Kubota Z482, CVTech CVT & AJS Bobber Package

Post by The-Original-T »

Hi Guys,

Selling my basically un-started project:
https://www.dieselbikeforum.com/viewtop ... d1bc25c243

So... Kubota Z482 in full working order (with transport frame) as per this thread so no hiding anything here and also the brand new CVTech Transmission.
£1000 OVNO takes the package.
Thought id offer it up on here before listing on eBay as I know this is a desirable combo and seldom is there a "band new" CVTech CVT up for grabs.
This is a pretty special CVT at that as CVTech actually set this up for me in the factory based on my calculated bike weight, engine application and desired top speed based on the final drive ratio.
In other words, you can bolt this to a Z482 in a medium sized bike frame and as long as your final drive target is about 70mph from CVT output shaft then its already tuned for this application - not like the ones pulled from the cars/sleds ect.....

Also go the hardtail Bike I was going to use (AJS Bobber 125) which is in full working order 64 plate with only 650ish miles on the clock from new, brand new Metzeller ME888 tires and the bike is legitimately in great condition, I've added LED lights all round too so you can actually see where you're going.
I will be selling this separately as its a desirable and discontinued bike which is rather unmolested unlike most of them.
Will be looking for £2500 OVNO for the bike, will come with full 12month MOT.

Also got a rear brake of a F650GS which used the same size disc as the AJS bobber on the rear but for the opposite side, this would easily allow you to flip the rear wheel allowing the straight forward install of the CVT and Z482. which if you wanted the lot then I'd happily throw this in along with all my calculations, run through of design and ideas for the conversion ect... also happy to reasonably negotiate on any of this.

Would have loved to do this but my priorities have changed as has my job meaning I no longer have access to machine tools ect....
Unfortunately & honestly its just not a priority of mine anymore to complete.

Feel free to contact me directly to discuss - we can then exchange phone numbers by e-mail.
