A few more this morning, looks like newly created accounts too. I will have review the Captcha settings to see if they can be stopped.

Perhaps switch to admin approval for new members for a bit?

Someone selling trainers. They really don't target their ads, do they! (Mind, the ubiquitous ads for erectile-dysfunction meds are probably a better fit for our demographic, and if someone turns up offering Prozac I might need some - for a friend, you understand ).

I have updated the settings for the forum. New users will now need administrator approval before being able to post. Seeing as we have a low rate of new user registrations this seems to be the best option imo.

Thanks for your efforts guys. Bit of a nightmare these days isn’t it? I can only think the PHPbb homepage may have the answers to stopping them.
