This rolling-Chassis kit- bike is perfect for the DIY'er who wants to put their own choice of diesel engine (or any other engine) into a classic Royal Enfield chassis and mate it to the stock 4-speed Gearbox.
Included:
• Modified 1977 Royal Enfield frame (lengthened and an engine base-duplex cradle added for Yanmars, Chinese Yanmar Clones, and many other single-cylinder/twin diesel or gas engines.
• Tank, seat, side tanks, fenders, suspension, handlebars and related accessories, wheels (w drum brakes, clutch and front brake cable), etc. All new and painted.
• Brand New stock Royal Enfield wiring harness is already on the bike and can be modified for your specific application.
• Reconditioned Enfield 4-speed transmission with NEW sealed bearings, gaskets, etc.
** Will sell with out transmission for $1450.
• New tires
• *NOT INCLUDED (obtained easily through various sources in the U.S.): diesel (or other) Engine, --also you will need (if using Enfield transmission)- primary chain inner and outer covers , cover nut, primary chain, clutch assy, primary chain tensioner.
*If you are planning on converting this to a Yanmar or Yanmar clone diesel engine, I have a the adapter plate, some seals, and a primary cover bearing support piece that was custom machined for this purpose. These items would cost extra.
This bike will need to be titled in your respective state of residence. I will guide you through the process of titling the vintage chassis through a third-party organization. The process is painless and I've used the company many times to title various bikes I've owned.
