Fuel economy

Post by alexanderfoti »

Hi all

I have now done just over 900 miles on my diesel bike (With only one breakdown wehay!) much better than my old diesel bike, which was basically a learning step. First time welding, building a motorbike etc etc.

anyway, I have been using the new one to commute into london, and to run errands around town. I am currently getting around 120 mpg (UK) running on WVO w 10% petrol, this is normally sitting in a lot of traffic though, what are other people getting?

Thought I saw it somewhere. I searched for "Imperial" guessing that the difference between it and US mpg had to have been mentioned

Here it is

viewtopic.php?f=39&t=457&p=10053&hilit=Imperial#p10053

Would make a good sticky actually

Sean, it's hard to have too much sympathy on your low mpg when this is your 'camping stuff' :D
