Divorced motorcycle tranny?? Assume so with the side cover being chrome. Chain/belt? system between engine and tranny... confuses me.

When you zoom in it looks like a chain drive primary with idler/tensioner. The biggest challenge would be sealing off the gearbox from the outside world so as to run a dry clutch. Exposed oily primary chain wouldn't be much fun. But, we do what we've got to do. Much like our friend in Hungary did (although reversed).
