Kubota D722 3000rpm max? in USA Florida

just passing this on. NOT MY ENGINE

My talk with him he said for some reason when building his trike this engine would not go past 3000rpm. He did not do anything to try to improve this though. My guess it was tuned down. Can't recall from our conversation if it was a former Refer engine or sail boat engine. Either maybe would have had; from factory, been tuned down since neither is ever ment to go to max RPM by user.... just slow steady chug.

D722 ... $1200, w/o raditor. $1300 with.
