Hi, dont know if anyone can help but I had a deep sided front mudguard made in India (same as the one on Stuarts bike, the one he bought at auction). Unfortunately it came without struts so I need to get some made, can anyone give me the dimensions as I believe they are shorter than the standard ones.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give, Phil.

Re: Front Mudguard Mounting Struts
Ok, here are the Dim's for the Ruggerfield's front mudguard struts. I've measured centre to centre. Note that there are slight bends in some.
Front vertical is 10 & 1/4 inch. Second vertical (bolted to rear of forks is again 10 & 1/4 inch. Measuring up from the bottom, it's drilled at 4 & 1/4 inch point to take 2nd fork fixing. The horizontal rear strut measures 8 & 3/8 of an inch. Second time today I've been under the tarp taking shots of the old girl She must think something's up, all the attention she's been getting
Thank God for the Tapatalk App on the IPhone - so easy to shoot & share shots on here. If you've a Smart phone I urge you to try it out.

Re: Front Mudguard Mounting Struts
Thanks Stuart, this will save me a lot of time balancing the mudguard on blocks to approximate the required lengths.
