rip out a auto CVT for a bike?

starting to see parts of auto CVT tranny for sale, on fleabay etc. For sale like just a face of the tranny and the two intact CVT pulley's and STEEL belt. wonder if these can be canabilized and used on a bike? Still little too pricey but it will come down. Esepecially if you go to pick and pull place and yank the tranny yourself.

Cant find info if they; from any auto manufacture, are tuneable with different weights, springs etc etc.

ahhhhhhh.... One automaker set it up to control the width of the pully's hydraulicly or via air pressure? See below demo
