All right, own up...

Who's the owner of that lovely-looking Royal Oilfield conversion I admired in passing outside Horwich's Tesco Extra tonight (27th Oct)? :) Nice to see one in the flesh^Wmetal, as it were.

Didn't get a potato-cam (Yes, my phone is *that* bad.) picture; and it'd be a little creepy to hang around. :P (Plus, my horrible little plastic bag was already splitting; and dinner is best served without grit and fag-ends.)

Single-cylinder (?) industrial gen-set type engine, with a yellow-ringed black flywheel/fan cover.
Dreaming a dream, and scheming a scheme, of a diesel trike.

No it's not mine!..... Honest! My Oilfield/Enfield was 'lurking' around Twickenham Tesco!
Don't worry about hanging around and photographing diesel bikes, even with 'dodgy' camera phones - most diesel bike owners very are used to it. I've had mine photographed twice at Tesco, and at least once outside Asda. And have lost count of how many times I have been asked about the bike, when out shopping. The last time I was at Tesco, an Indian man was extremely interested and wanted to know all about it, since his family live near the Enfield factory in India!
There's nothing like the smell of burnt vegetable oil in the morning!!

1971 Royal Enfield diesel running on diesel/biofuel.
