work it from both sides. Push for it to continue AND offer to adn DO start fundraising too. Look for sponsors like local Motorcycle dealers, welding shops etc.

It's not the money for supplies. It's the number of students and how many credits they earn. Its all about numbers not the people. If we save one kid what does it save in the long run?

Any updates on this? My gf teaches in a school that had classes like building instruments etc, but budget cuts are also threatening this kind of education. In general, employers in Holland is crying out for youth attending high schools where they can learn trades, instead of earning meager qualifications to go out and do menial office jobs.
