MZ fork springs

Post by gilburton »

My diesel build is progressing slowly but I've got the engine in.
I now find the standard fork springs are too soft(they were soft in the first place) causing the forks to virtually bottom out and the ground clearance a bit low.
I was just wondering if anyone knows of standard springs from another bike that would solve the problem?
As a last resort I could fit spacers but this usually limits fork movement.
Any info/suggestions appreciated :D

Just found out heavy duty/sidecar ones are available but the scrooge in me would like to find a cheap alternative. :D
