I have for sale an original Ernie Dorsett Matchless.

The frame is a 1968 G12 frame and it was fitted with a Fuji Robin diesel engine. This has blown up. Fortunately the modified flywheel, casing and alternator are fine. To complete the bike you will need either a replacement engine and fit the Dorsett modified parts or fit the lower power engine I sourced for it with those same parts. The bike is in red with full fairing, panniers and towball. At present it is of course a rolling chassis with tank, seat, panniers and fairing off the bike. The spare engine has been run. Too many jobs to do, too little time and moving house as well. I am able to drop off along the M6 on the 13th Oct if that suits. Will be advertised elsewhere so if you are interested please ring or e-mail.
