Yo,

I was discussing the idea of a diesel motorbike with a long time motorcyclist who is open to new ideas. I told him that I would like to use an old CBR as the shell, etc, etc ,etc... although he made one really interesting suggestion.

Is it feasible to rig up a hybrid set up? i.e you have your diesel engine driving a battery charger and an electric motor direct-driving the rear wheel. I sorta like the idea, but seems like a lot of messing around. Thoughts?

A person can always assume that if they have an idea.... someone else has too and may have acted on it already.

So search the Internet for Hybrid motorcycle. You might find something.

Hybrid! thats the world I was looking for. Although, after looking at a bunch of articles + my own dubiousness I'm not too keen on the idea. Thanks for the link though.
