Just thought I'd put up two pennies worth regarding some films I've seen recently. :D

Sherlock Holmes: Good fun film.

Avatar 3D was astonishing. The seemless animation with the supercomputers and then the polaroid 3D on top of that made for quite an experience.

A Prophet: Gritty, realistic crime drama charting the rise of a guy through the ranks. French prison life never looked so real or grim. Definitely a contender for film of the year. It's a subtitled film but you don't have to read much to get what's going on most of the time. Great film.

Yes Graphics etc. of Avitar was amazing buttttttt... the liberal left theme it was written to propagandize was so blatant it was at times a distraction and other times actually funny. I don't watch the news' listen to the radio, or even TV really so I had not read one single thing about the movies propaganda design. After the movie in discussion with a friend I was informed that it had been prelabled as a left leaning propaganda movie

Saw the Clint Eastwood movie Invictus last night. Good inspirational stuff :D
