Re: Xperience improved enfield clutch?
Hi Arnaud,
I have the 5 plate clutch and mushroom bearing in my 500 classic 5 speed petrol enfield. I have no complaints, the clutch has never slipped and has never given any problems in 10000 miles.
John.

Okay! but is it better then the old std one?(mine has a uneven pick-up and i think gear shifting would improve if the clutch disengages a little more.. so?)

Hi Arnaud,
I never had a four plate clutch as it was fitted with a 5 plate from new.I have heard a lot of negatives about the 4 plate (slipping dragging etc) but can only confirm the excellent performance of my 5 plate.
