Ideas how to get reliable RPM reading from Punsun twin?

I´m about to get one for my build anyhow, but just curious.

Get virtually any electonic tacho and fit a proximity switch to anywhere on the crank with just a piece of steel as a pickup. A proximity switch has three wires 10-30volts +, 0 volts or ground, and the signal wire, which you connect to the tacho, and job done.
