Diesel is better than electric

Don't know about you guys but feeling quite smug on hearing this

interesting but the report seems to be missinformed. If you read the actualy study the comparision of battery Environmental impact was NOT compared to a diesel car as the title elludes to. It was compared to a petrol car. Yes.... battery was NOT as good environmentally as the petrol car was.

Now true that one could extrapolate from that that diesel vehicles would be even better since their are studies that show newer diesels are more environmentaly friendly that existing petrol vehicles.

the question to arise is about the future. Suposidly their are new technologies in the work that makes petrol vehicles more echo friendly than the recent green diesels.

Time will tell.

That got tweeted me and so maybe I should not have taken it at face value!
Diesel cars now outselling petrol in the UK we're told. Petrol has stepped up it's game but there's still more energy in oil based fuels. Long term we're still onto a winner

Yes I was reading where the Toyota Prius hybrid takes way more energy to produce then a normal petrol vehicle, that the batteries last X amount of years, in the end it isn't all that green at all.
