Hi,

A while ago I recall the "Robin" diesel and many tests in Motorcycle Sport and Leisure, by Peter Henshaw. I think I have seen the odd bike at Stanford Hall, Founders Day.....and some 'Ernie Dorset' Matchless types....out and about.

I have searched the messages with "supplier" or "dealer", but can't find quite what I need - but assume from the number of threads there might be some info out there.

After some searching for a used "Robin" to no avail, and as I have a 350cc Royal Enfield CLASSIC bike - I was pondering the diesel route, with my bike being the 'donor'.....

Does any dealer / specialist [in UK] offer a diesel cconversion 'service'? :?

What sort of costs, might be involved? :(

Regards

Mark

I think Charnwood offer the Sommer kit. 462cc Hatz conversion. Hopefully Mr Sommer will come to the Brit Rally at the begining of June. He usually makes the effort :)
Stuart. M1030M1, Honda NC700S, Grom!, Toyota Corolla 1.4 Turbo Diesel. Favouring MPG over MPH.

hi, I hope this will be helpful,
the company who did the ' Enfield Robin ' were Redbreast Developments . 1 Staveley Way , Brixworth , Northampton , NN6 9EU .
I beleive they were robin engine suppliers and bought Enfields from the uk importer to convert them .
www.redbreastrobin.com this is their website.
