After some thinking and preliminary fittings I find it difficult to mount yanclone to dnepr frame lenghtwise without excessive surgery.
Exhausts points directly to my kneecaps. Frame will be cut and have some extra lenght but still it is too darn close.
How have others solved this? I´d like to keep it shaftdriven but chaindriven system is also temptating
(one friend did conversion from shaft to chains)
On the other hand fabricating suitable system for cooling exhaust pipes with water might produce combined coffeemaker.
Nice feature having hot water for tea/coffee available? plus corrode pipes under no time.

From the pic below I can see what you mean. The kneepads on the tank tell the story. Stretching the frame as you propose would certainly help. Otherwise, it's tight turns and effective heat shields. Curiously, the lower frame tubes on this mock-up appear unmolested. Can the Yanclone acutally be squeezed into the stock frame or is this unrealistic? (Credits to Stuart for the pic).
Or, being from Finland, you could sew ports into the knees of your leathers and with a short piece of stainless flex tubing, enjoy a toasty ride year round.Ron

Heatshields etc are ok when driving but what about stopping (trafficlights etc).
Must sit down (again) on the bike and do some serious thinking. Now, unmodifed frame, exhausts are some 2" away from kneecaps. After tight turns + frame extended cap might still be that 2".
tahanks for the pic - helped again few steps ahead.

Re: Yanclone + dnepr frame + exhausts
how about a chunk of metal bored out fashioning a manifold that puts the exhaust exit southward. Bolt exhaust tube to these, taking it down to a curve that runs it back by rear wheel in typical fashion. Thought is a milled out chunk of metal reqires less length to change direction of exhaust than bends in tube does but I could be wrong. Make it big enough to mill in air channels/fins on the surface that cools it AND channels the air flow downward?
Heat shelid still needed for legs. Put a piece of gypsom board in heat sheld as an insulator for summers. Pull it out for winters
But do not knowing anything about exhaust back pressure issues though. Such an abrupt change of direction this way compared to flowing bends in an exhaust manifold might be an issue.... might not?

Seems that´s the way to go.
I´m lucky to have friend around that has access to some seroius CNC-machinery
Maybe add some steampunk look....
