Newbe from Brisbane Aust.

Post by CRAZYHORSE »

Hi to all in the Nuthouse, I've been watchin this site & thinkin for a long time now & decided it's time to get involved !! My daily comute to the slave pens is 50 klm round trip & on my fj 1200 thats $35 a week before the weekend runs start ! I'VE HAD ENOUGH !! I first got my hands on a 18 hp. twin Lister in good going order, but what a lump of an engine ! I had to use a block & tackle to lift it off the trailer in the shed ! Next came a single cyl. Hatz for a carton of jim beam cans, right price but sooo tall & heavy also. So Ive been sitting lookin at them in the shed contemplating the size & weight of the project (ARGGHH) I don't have a lot of funds to throw at this but I've decided on a frends 10 hp v-twin Honda diesel & another frends BMW rolling chassis to mate it to. I've still got a lot of research to do & a long slog ahead to get started but I am determind to show the Knockers that it's possible & rideable. So there it is, I've fineally put it out there & committed my self & I might need to ask a little help now & then (hope you wont find me a menace) I also have to find some more space on this poor old laptop, it's allmost full with pics of Diesel bikes(so is my mobile ph.) I would also like to congradulate each & every builder & owner of Diesel bikes wolrd wide for there fantastic efforts (esspecially the rats, I love em) Keep up the great work !!! Well thats it I think I'll go kick back with a cool mug of Diesel & contemplate sum more!! CHEERS
