There is a bloke on ebay selling United Power Yanmar type diesels brand new for I think £260

305cc
max power 6.7hp
continuous 5.5hp
3600rpm
and have the blanking for a starter motor...

are they any good?
anyone ever heard of United Power?

I did a search on here, but all I found is someone mentioned them for sale...

For an extra 40 quid you can get a 10hp engine that everyone's familiar with with an electric starter...

I've ordered parts from these guys before with no problem at all. Good price for a 10hp Yanmar clone engine as well...

There one of the better clones then are they, the Direct Equipment sales engines...

Still out of my price range for the moment (the united power as well) but I will definitely keep them in mind.

Also looking at a Kubota OC60E

Are they fixed or variable speed?

I have an UP 418 engine in my bullet, it is all right for the money.

fair enough...

Currently I wont be able to afford to do anything, as other projects require the small amount of money I have to be spent on them :S

and perhaps it would be a good idea to actually get a car license :P
