Hey great stuff Heiko, thanks for sharing the vids. Good to see a trophy getting the lombardini treatment - it was the next logical step!

I have much interest in how you built your CX500, as I have a CB1000c that is a close cousin drive and frame to the CX500. I had a CX500 last year but I gave it away figuring the CB1000c would be better suited for my Kubota D950 engine. I would like to retain the shaft drive and use a CVT. Nice job Heiko, I think that you've built 6 bikes in the time that I haven't even got one of mine half built! Keep up the good work.

Great builds Heiko :D The CX lends itself to this conversion very well I think. You are right to offer to build more. This shaft drive CX is a favourite bike of the Dispatch rider. The CX has a solid reputation as a working bike and would be even better & cheaper to run about town with a diesel engine :D
Look forward to more video's of it. And perhaps some indication of price, speed and other specs.

thanks for your intresting

yes all are intrested in that cx here in germany too.
i can built that bike complete for ca 6000euro. depense of the benzinbike.
i search with pressure an cooler for that bike conversation, but i dont find one.
the engine is not new it will be an used engine always from an microcar.
if i buy it new it will be to expensive all.
but in car the engine runs only with 3000upm and 6 hp.
so always thant engines runs good.
topspeed i calculate now with 115kmh but i think will be 100kmh. but lets surprice if i have an cooler.

videos , you can be sure i will make better!
but here is a lot of snow.

the cvt tiger i tested on street runs awesome. topspeed 135kmh and good acceleration.
like an astra 1,7dtci.
we tested.
the price will be around 11000euro.
the next will be an turbo automatic tiger and an turbo diesel automatic trible triumph from 98 in yellow.

now you know all my live. hehe
thanks heiko

Heiko how far out does the CVT stick out compared to the 3" belt drive?

Interesting.

I´ve been a liitle bit off-line, but that CVT looks just what I need to my bike.

What?
Where?
Setup?
Price?
that should do it

It looks like the bike hits triple figures at about the 3 minute mark in the second video. Hence why I was curious about whether the use mph or kph but has been using kph in calculations. :D
