Hey new to the forum not new to diesel lol I own a duramax diesel pickup right now and unfortunately probably gunna end up selling it to pay for college hoping to become a diesel technician, anyways read quite a few threads and was looking around a lot of yanmars being used, I was looking at a couple of small isuzus twins and triples they are actually Iseki I think was wondering if anyone knows much about these if they have a turbo good or bad motors exc.... Ill keep poking around and see what I can find thanks for having me Zeth

Welcome to the forum, not sure about the smaller Isuzu's, but the larger ones use to be fairly well designed. Not sure what the new ones are like, I'm still a lover of push rod mechanical injection engines .
Others are sure to know, keep poking and don't be afraid to ask questions.

Yeah I've actually been looking at an IDI vw motor as a possibility but I'm afraid the width is gunna be a factor but I know my current bike is a cb750 sohc and those cases are wide as hell too gotta find some measurements I guess

I would like to know exactly how they connected the motors up to the transmissions, how reliable the mechanism is, what speed and MPG they ended up with.

Yeah I was thinking about a jackshaft setup ran back to a HD type tranny and I could run the accessories off the other side of the jackshaft instead of hanging them from the motor
