Hi Zeth

Welcome to the forum, not sure about the smaller Isuzu's, but the larger ones use to be fairly well designed. Not sure what the new ones are like, I'm still a lover of push rod mechanical injection engines :).

Others are sure to know, keep poking and don't be afraid to ask questions.

there are a few VW 1.6 bikes in Europe. look at the video and links http://www.youtube.com/user/emscherblue ... ut8KHQM-Mw

I would like to know exactly how they connected the motors up to the transmissions, how reliable the mechanism is, what speed and MPG they ended up with.

Yeah I was thinking about a jackshaft setup ran back to a HD type tranny and I could run the accessories off the other side of the jackshaft instead of hanging them from the motor
