Hi all

Post by SirDiesel »

Thought i'd introduce myself, bodger extraordinaire that i am

new to the idea of diesel bikes, have thought about it before but thought a diesel engine would be too heavy. generally been more a car man over the years but have been there, done that, got the smelly old stained tshirt now, looking for something new so am looking at building motorcycle projects. And a Diesel motorcycle is all me through and through just me.

Love this idea, not thought about anything else for days. got a thread in the building section, probably in the wrong place too but love me love me i'm new

Probably will have to speak to you guys at some point regarding another idea you gave me, converting the lightest of kit cars (trikes, and dune buggy types) to small diesels - that's a future project i will be doing. My name says it all really. Bought my first diesel at 17, ten years later i've had sports cars, supercars, 4x4s, motorway eaters, vans, eco-wagons and everything in between but at no point in those ten years have i not owned a diesel vehicle of some kind... I just absolutely love the old low rev chuggers.. modern car diesels are kinda sucky but give me a perkins prima and i'm a happy happy man :D

Hi everyone, anyway.. this be me, need owt else, ask

Welcome to the forums, I think most of us are a bit distracted with Christmas at the moment, that and the bad weather kind of turns our minds to other things, and thoughts of bikes takes a bit of a back seat (sacrilege).
I'm sure the board will be buzzing with activity in the spring when we come out of hibernation, and the roads will be a wash with knocking diesels.
