A friend of mine is off to India in a weeks time and is going to enquire about the possibility of importing Diesel Enfield’s. I’ve said that people will only really be interested in 500cc bikes.
Even if the price is attractive, do you reckon it’s a worth while venture? I’m aware that things are moving on slowly from the old Enfield’s. May end up only going for one bike for my brother.

Re: Possible Import
If you can get them registered in Europe somewhere, it will be easy to get them transferred to any other european country. Just don't start out in Holland.

Re: Possible Import
I would have thought if they are comeing from India where you can buy a university degree and a driving licence for a few dollars, makeing the bike appear more than ten years old on paper is childs play.

Re: Possible Import
This is exactly why Dutch road authority has become rather obnoxious when it comes to imported "vintage" motorcycles.
