Diesel Dneper's in America

Post by coachgeo »

Diesel Dave in America; Know as Locomotivebreath on this board, has been off the net awhile moving. His new location is opening up alot of possibilities for fabrication & one man assembly line. That along with a new connection in Dneper's is opening to door to puting out custom diesel Dnepers here in the US. Based out of the Sac. CA area.

You can get the Dnepers yourself from the same source.

who knows for 5 grand??? or so you could get a running one and sell the engine.

Check with him though. He might have what you need at vostokmotors. I understand he has 800 dnepers to move.

George,

Mitch at Vostok has between 40-60 bikes on hand, I bought a very nice new complete Dnepr MT-16 (2 wheel drive), minus engine. The Bike came with a leading link front end and a rare factory front disc brake.

It will get my cleaned up and redone Hatz/Dnepr frame and Hatz 2G40 engine (from my first Dnepr for registration purposes), and the frame that came with the new MT-16 will be modified for my Daihatsu/Briggs 3LC and also get a new MT-16 set-up.

I have a Machine Shop here in Sacramento Building Adapters for the Hatz style engines and also the Daihatsu/Briggs so I can do more conversions. Also looking into doing a Harley V-twin/Dnepr/Ural conversion along with an Electric Version.

Dave
