search word restrictions
Does phpbb automatically decide if a word is too common? I tried searching for gear/gearbox but was dismissed, while looking for threads of rebuilding gearboxes.
'92 Enfield + Hatz 1B40: street legal, weld up stainless exhaust, check engine rpm and change final drive sprocket.

Re: search word restrictions
Think that means Gearbox appeared so many times in the results it assumes it has not reduced the results list down to anything usable by you.
I did a search for gearbox rebuild and that came up with some results
Also, try Google advanced and set it to search this site's basic url of suckindiesel.com

Re: search word restrictions
BTW for something specific about a bike that is not diesel related, IMHO search for info on that in bulletin boards whose topic is the type of bike you have.
For example... if you want to search for info about rebuilding an Enfield Gearbox, search an Enfield bulletin board. If you do that don't forget to enlighten us with your new knowldege even if its just a simple link to where you found great information on the topic.
