The diesel fired Honda Rebel shown here on Dieselbike appears to be for sale in the state of Washington. Not exactly a give away, but interestingly the seller claims "60 mph+ no problem". If nothing else, it does provide us some nice closeup shots.

Yes I'd think 60mph would be achievable, anything greater would be pushing it 
. Like you said, the advertisement has some really neat close up shots. Anyone who has a dead cruiser with a cannot fix petrol engine has an alternative.
