TedV but will answer to Ted

Post by TedV »

Hello from Knoxville TN, USA. I’ve messed with VW’s for years, got bored with gassers, so switched to playing with diesel. Daily driver is a 98 Jetta TDi and autocross a 78 Scirocco with 84 turbo diesel. I’ve also autocrossed a club formula ford, and before that a home built frankenstein 2.0L 16V turbo VW. I’ve thought about a diesel bike for a few years, and now might be a good time to actually do something about making one. My thoughts a few years ago were along the lines of Heiko’s Tiger builds or the V-twin yanmar with same transmission. The choice of diesel engines here has been very limited. Time to wear out the search function.

I tried to send you some private messages
about the diesel engines.
Sorry, But I can't seem to find the send button.
They appear in my outbox but they just won't send.
I'm the http://www.A1biofuel.net fellow in

I believe they stay in your outbox untill he opens them. So it would appear you have done your part.

Also there is a setting in the user area to turn on or off getting an email if someone sent a PM. If that is set off odds are he does not even know he has PM's waiting to be read.

Yes! Lots of stuff on here whether you want to build a single up to the larger capacity 3/4 cylinder variants.

All the best with you diesel bike endeavours.
