Board style

Post by Sphere »

Would it be possible to add other board styles? I find it hard to distinguish which sections contain new posts since my last visit. Perhaps other styles would suite me better. Unfortunately I can't recommend any, but I will see if I can muster up something.

I'm not saying it's the board's fault, it might be my little handicap :D

New styles can be previewed here: http://www.phpbb.com/styles/demo/3.0/

I can comfortably read: http://www.phpbb.com/styles/demo/3.0/?style_id=2 (subsilver2)

and http://www.phpbb.com/styles/demo/3.0/?style_id=23 (subAndreas08)

Also 610nm, but I suspect the orange will cause seizures :(

Yes, I find it hard to see the new posts logo too I agree. I touched on the board style in this thread -

https://www.dieselbikeforum.com/view ... ?f=2&t=777

Can be changed easy enough. It may even be possible to install more than one style and user selects the one they want in this version (user control panel under the phpbb logo https://www.dieselbikeforum.com/ucp.php). I'll go see about installing one.

All ideas/opinions welcome.

Have added subsilver2 so you should be able to pick that in your personal settings if you prefer. If I was really evil I could override your preferences and force you to use the default one
