Gents,
Working on my 5th diesel bike build. 6th is in the shop as well, but mothballed for the moment. Been riding all my life, fabricating for half that.
I've been interested in alternative energies for a while, running my truck on straight vegetable oil (SVO) and doing the same on a few bike builds. currently working on a biodiesel/ electric hybrid car (1963 Austin Healy sprite) as well as the bikes.
I live on 5 acres outside of Portland, Oregon USA, driving my updated SVO 1980 SIII 109 Land Rover (RHD). I do contract work on vehicles: mechanical, fabrication, paint, custom work, etc- as a 2d job. My "real job" is locating and transporting runaway kids. I get a ring, and fly all over the country and occasionally the world. So if I have a contract for a build, its something the client will know up front, that i am good, but can be slow. Very reasonably priced, however.
I am not very good with numbers, good thing my best mate is an engineer. I am a former US Army Airborne Ranger, Special Operations combat veteran, and am ecstatic that we have a democratic president once again. My sincerest apologies to the world for the last 8 years of Bush. While traveling the world I often found myself saying I was Canadian to avoid any mishap.
I am open to help any I can, all it takes is an email or ring. I also appreciate this forum and the mates I've made here. So again, Stuart, I applaud you and your efforts and thank you again.
Cheers and ride safely, no matter which hand (or foot) you shift with.
Brett

Thanks Brett,
much appreciated But the forum wouldn't have happened if other's hadn't pushed for it. Good job they did, it was the spur I needed. It's good to talk
