Tiger's on the road - all legal too!

Post by Diesel Dave »

The postie delivered a fat wad of paperwork from the DVLA this morning so the Tiger now has a new Brit registration.

Colour me happy, I'm on the road all legal like!

:D :D :D :D :D :D

Thanks Heiko,

In the UK you can buy registration numbers if you wish, D007 TGR is available for about 1000 quid, bit rich for my wallet.

I had my first embarrassing moment at the fuel station, I fitted twin 85w bulbs to the headlamps and flattened the battery, I had to ask a passing motorist for a jump start

I've looked up the performance chart for the 30w flywheel alternator and it only makes 60 watts at 1000 rpm and I've barely been over this rpm figure, I think I'll need to put a switch into the second headlamp and downgrade one of the bulbs for town use.

Now where's that Hepco & Becker catalogue :D
