This is for Stuart or anyone else who attended the 08 British Rally and saw the Kubota 500 fired Enfield as pictured below.

What can you tell us about it? I presume it's the little Kubota Z482 (rated 13.3 HP at 3600 RPM's) which makes for a clean little package in the Enfield. What kind of speed is it capable of maintaining and is there any chance it's builder/rider could give us a review. I ask in part because here in the states the US military is auctoning off 99 of them (in lots of 3) and they look as though they've hardly been run. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ron,
Too bad there's not any of these in the Northeast, I'd grab a couple. I guess I'll keep looking at the Gov't auctions and elsewhere. Uncle Sam has cut out many of the repair depots and I think all of them around here unfortunately before everything in the military went diesel.
After reading some of the posts about the Punsun failures I guess I'll start looking for a different Twin, even if it is less horses. 13.3's better'n 7!
