"Dirty" topics ,
This forum has a nice start and i hope we can have much fun and knowledge shared this year
However, when I read the topics it allready gets more harder to understand what info the topic was started on ! Maybe for english talking natives it is not so hard but I am From the (un)Holy Lowland country also known as Holland / The Netherlands and trying to understand what the link within the info is
Is it possible to not put all available info on every topic and nabour or petrol bike in between. If new info is available a new topic should be started. I now see so much "crap" allready emerging ... Even I did put in some...... dirty

Maybe you're right
Yes Erik, maybe you are correct there. I think people are just getting used to using the new forum and in time will become more confident about starting their own threads.
Guy's, If you have a topic worthy of a new thread don't hesitate to start one rather than tack it on the end of an existing thread. It make's it easier for everyone seeking info that way.
Hopefully it will improve in appearance over time.
Saying that though, I'm hoping to let it grow organically and with the minimum of interference. My experience of forums is they start off all sweetness and light and sometimes degenerate into flame wars if we're not careful. Hopefully if we stick to talk around bikes that won't happen.
BTW, Our Mods have been busy deleting Spam from here already so a round of applause for those guys keeping it clean around here
I had to delete the spammer in question from our midst and hopefully he will not be back

topic info
Eric, Stuart,
Please spell out what you are suggesting, so I can understand. I'm sort of new to "forums" and not well versed as to what you guys are getting at. Are you saying that posted topics are being over ridden with to much extra BS, or are you saying that people are starting too many very related topics????
Sorry for my ignorance ....
Cris
BTW, my English is far from perfect and not in line with Europes standards....makes if fun, eh????

Hi Cris
Yeah I think Eric is refering to topics starting to run astray a little and branching into other things. I for one can be guilty of it at times
Eric - hang in there mate, as Stuart suggests, the forum can be new to those who love Diesel bikes etc, but sure once we all settle in we will have some great topics and have a laugh too, but please guy's keep it kinda clean.
Forums can be ideal to gain important knowledge, to meet and share ideas - remember everyone is important and shares equal respect. With that said lets make it a great place - Stuart has done the hard yards for us and set up a great spot.
I'll be working as hard as I can to help out too.
Cheers
Andrew
