Kawasaki Build

Post by pietenpol2002 »

The bike in the Ebay link below looks to be a reasonable and well-documented build. His progress journal and accompanying CD would certainly be interesting to view. Curious how these independent builds seem to pop up out of nowhere.

Must agree there. They appear like 'straight outta the blue' Anyway, I've copied all the details and will add it to the site sometime soon.

Great to see people having a go at the conversions, as stated looks to be well researched, just a personal opinion - it would have been good to see the original tank modified and fitted back on the bike.

The rear fuel can could be used for veg oil etc ?

well researched, and looks mechanically sound. i suppose if you're just building to build it works. hopefully the new owner will make some refinements, as its my belief that diesel (veg) bikes will carry alot of us forward into the future and i'd like them to be seen as able to be aesthetically pleasing as well. ratbikes have their spot in the world, but pride of workmanship and ownership should win out. IMHO.
