Petrol additive to use when storing cars.
Does anyone know a Petrol additive to use when storing old cars? I’ve been asked the question here in the UK & have no idea.

I use POR15 fuel stabiliser and preservative but you can get equivalent from farm supply shops

I'll second fuel stabiliser.
Also... cheap supermarket 95RON is fine when it's being used every day, it goes off frighteningly quickly when it isn't so I wouldn't recommend leaving a car with a tank full of it long term even with stabiliser. Same with Tesco Momentum (99RON) as well oddly enough but believe it is down to mainly alcohol (which is cheap) being used to improve the octane rating which goes off really quickly.
I run to near empty then a gallon of Shell V-Power or BP Ultimate petrol with a bit of fuel stabiliser in the bike (which sometimes doesn't get used for 6 months) and likewise the lawnmower (with half a litre of the same). Both start first attempt when I next need them then get run off the cheap stuff again until I don't.
