Fellow DOG's,
Anybody recognize the engine in the bike found in the link below. The 3 injection lines and absence of carb identifies it as a diesel. Certainly a simple primary drive to the trans. With the sidecar it would appear he didn't have to worry about the engine being offset to the right and thus was able to align the flywheel sprocket with the trans and then just let the engine hang over the right side. Do spend a bit of time studying his shifter. I also rather like how he jogged the frame spine around the engine. Can we assume the kick starter is just for looks? And finally, I find it ironic that after our recent dicussion regarding a club name such as Diesel Owners Groug (DOG), this bike as named on the seat is "Junkyard DOG".
