I apologize if this has already been posted.

A biofueled diesel race bike has been tested to 121 mph and is headed to Bonneville in 2007. The bike uses BMW drivetrain components.

BTW the gearboxes and final drives of late model BMWs have tall gearing which makes them very suitable for use with diesel engines.

Yep, looks like maybe the first bike to run with a common rail engine on the Salt Flats. Talking of which...
